So recently I've watched 2 french action movies, The first was District B13, or Banlieu B13. It's a kickass movie, but don't watch the dub, the accents are ridiculous, watch it in french with subs, please. The action sequences are fast and amazingly choreographed, it's worth watching for the fights even if you don't understand a word. It's set in the near future, but isn't all cyberpunky etc.. Well worth a watch. The second (tonights movie) was Wasabi, with Jean Reno, It's decent, not as good as B13 as far as action goes, but humorous enough and with enough cool sequences to get by. Personally I thought it kinda rocked, but I know most people won't get the same level of enjoyment from it, the french humour is a bit of an acquired taste. If you are on the lookout for something interesting to watch in french, or set in Japan, this is it, otherwise it might be a bit too special interest. |

So I'm still unable to hear anything with
my right ear, all attempts to clear it have been pretty
ineffectual, I'm also feeling pretty crapy overall. Perfect way to
go back to work after a long weekend. Normally I'd totally call in
sick but mondays are so bad in our department already that thare's
no way I'd do that to my co-workers. If I'm still this deaf by
tomorrow I'm totally going to see a doctor tho.
Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving weekend, HUGE props to the Super G who
covered my shift on saturday, enabling me to take the full weekend
out of town. |

So I just accomplished my goal for the
weekend, As I type my in-laws are yelling at the Tv while playing
Wii Baseball.
I feel so accomplished it's unreal.
watching people flail around is some of the best entertainment
ever. |
